Joseph D. Monticciolo, FAIA, is President of a Housing Consulting firm providing consulting services for architecture, construction, housing development, budget
and feasability analysis expertise. He is a registered architect in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Mr.Monticciolo was Regional Administrator/Regional Housing
Commissioner for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Region II, New York (1981-88) and Director of HUD New York Area Office (1972-77).
Mr.Monticciolo is a lifetime Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Chairman of the Board of Advisiors of Hofstra University, President of the Italian Board of Guardians, a Past Director of the National A.I.A and the N.Y.S Association of Architects and a Past President of A.I.A Long Island.
He is an active member of the A.I.A, and the Columbus Citizens Foundation, N.Y.C.
Mr.Monticciolo is a graduate of the University of Illinois and received an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the Graduate School, University Center, CUNY.
He is the recipient of numerous professional and civic awards including: the Kemper Medal from A.I.A., Project Return Foundation, A.I.A New York, IBG, The 52 Association for the Handicapped, UJA, Bnai Brith, the Goverment of Puerto Rico and the Order Sons of Italy in America.
Msgr. David Cassato earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Cathedral College of the Immaculate Conception and a Master of Divinity Degree from Our Lady of the Angels Seminary.
He earned a Master of Science Degree in Education with a focus on Administration and Supervision from Mercy College (2002). Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik appointed Msgr. Cassato New York City Police Chaplin, on June 6, 2001.
Msgr. Cassato was ordained a priest in 1972 and appointed to St.Rita's Parish, in Long Island City, where he served for 13 years as Assistant Pastor. He was chosen Administrator (1985) and Pastor (1986) of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Williamsburg/Greenpoint.
He was actively involved in the future of Catholic Education on the Northside of Williamsburg namely the merger of St.Vincent de Paul School and Mount Carmel Academy.
On April 25, 1988, Msgr. Cassato was assigned Adminstrator of Annunciation Parish (1988) and Pastor of St.Athanasius Parish in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn (2001).
Throughout the years, while he worked to develop a diversified youth program, a drop-in center for teenagers, a summer camp program for youngsters, a retreat program
for young adults, activities for senior citizens and made regular visits to shut-ins in the parish, he has actively participated in community affairs.
Louis Esposito is a Senior Vice President of HRH Construction, LLC. He is also a member of the Saint Francis College Board of Regents. After finishing college, he started his career with Penn York Construction as an estimator, then moved on to Lasker Goldman Construction as project manager. He joined Starrett Housing Corp. (1972) and was project manager for the Starrett produced precast concrete buildings. When Starrett Housing acquired HRH Construction (1977), he moved to HRH.
His accomplishments and expertise are recognized in the industry. As a purchaser with HRH, Mr.Esposito was responsible for the purchasing, design and development of the Starrett developed Manhattan Park on Roosevelt Island, MTA Headquarters, Livingston Street, Brooklyn, and Lake Rononkoma's Train Station and Retail Hub. He worked with noted developers such as: The Zeckendorf Organization, Sherwood Equities, Bhatia Development. Trevor Davis, the Kellimian Family, David Eshagian, Jack Resnick & Sons, Isak Senbaher, The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, The Moinian Group. The Trump Organization and the Related Companies.
Mr.Esposito was an honoree of the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty (2002) and the Italian Board of Guardians. Together with some of his HRH colleagues, he continues to raise funds for Tuesday's Children (children who lost parents as a result of September 11th.)
Joseph Curcio attended Brooklyn Polytech University obtaining a BSCE, in 1980.
He rose through the ranks of the construction industry, to his current position as a partner in Samson Construction Co.
Mr.Curcio is active in the Catholic Youth Organization sports programs, Boy Scouts of America through his local parish and the Italian Board of Guardians. He is a member of the Catholics in Construction and the Harbour Green Civic Association where he helped start an architectural Review Board to control improper development and zoning changes in his community.
He has played a key role in the fundraising and construction of a children's park in Huntington, Long Island and raises money for CYO Sports and the BSA.
He and his family contribute to the Toys for Tots Program and children's hospitals toy drives.
David J. Gallo is vice president at Whitney Capital Company, a national real estate development company specializing in affordable housing. Mr.Gallo is responsible for finding future development opportunities, overseeing current developments, and refinancing existing properties.
Mr.Gallo completed his Master of Science Degree in real estate with honors at New York University, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree with honors from Fordham University.
In 2002, Mr.Gallo was awarded Fordham University's College of Business Administration's Alumni Association Award. In 2004, he was the recipient of the New York University's Real Estate Institutes Dean's Graduate Fellowship and Merit Fellowship, for academic excellence. In 2006, New York University's Real Estate Institute awarded Mr.Gallo the Future Alumni Scholarship. Mr.Gallo is also a board member of the Hofstra Advisory Board.
Diane J. Picucci was appointed Principal of a New York City Public Elementary School, in 2003. She is a product of the Public School System, receiving a BA, a Master's Degree in Education and a
Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Brooklyn College.
Ms.Picucci is involved in many community organizations including: the Dyker Heights Civic Association, The Italian American Conservative Club and the Columbia Association of the Board of Education. She actively supports community organizations
surrounding her school i.e. the Federation of Italian American Organizations and the Italian Board of Guardians.
In recognition of her community service, Ms.Picucci received the Italians Board of Guardians Community Service Award and on October 8, 2005, was the Grand Marshal of the Brooklyn Columbus Day Parade sponsored by FIAO.
Eleanor Schiano has been an active member and officer of the I.B.G. Ladies Auxiliary from 1981. She served as Corresponding Secretary (1984-88), 2nd Vice President (1988-92) and joined the IBG Board of Trustees in 1995
Mrs.Schiano is a retired NYC Elementary School Supervisior/Administrator. As a community activist, she volunteers her time serving and preserving her community. Her past and present involvement in civic organizations includes:
The Upper Third Avenue Merchants Association, Bay Ridge Community Council, Ragamuffin Parade Committee and the Guild for Exceptional Children. She was appointed to her local community board and elected to the executive board (1990).
Mrs.Schiano received various awards from professional and civic organizations i.e. The Association of the Teachers of New York's "Educator of the Year Award", Deborah Hospital's "Offical Proud Sponsor Award", and was the first woman to receive The Merchants of Third Avenue's "Pioneer Award" (1995).
John N. Lombardo graduated from Long Island University with a B.A degree, in 1964.
He then joined the Munich Reinsurance Company (U.S Branch) and was enrolled in an intensive German language program at the Goethe Institute in Barvaria.
Mr.Lombardo became Casualty Manager of Munich American Reinsurance Co, in 1974, then served as Senior Executive Vice-President, and appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, in 1989.
After Munich Re's purchase of American Re, in 1996, Mr.Lombardo held the position of Vice Chairman of American Re-Insurance Company, Princeton, New Jersey.
Mr.Lombardo is a Director on the Board of Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada (MROC), Lancer Insurance Co. and Sunshine State Insurance Co.
He is also past Chairman of the Reinsurance Association of America (RAA).
Patricia Manzo is a former teacher with the Diocese of Brooklyn and a practicing attorney with offices in both Nassau Country and New York City. Ms.Manzo concentrates in the area of matrimonial and family law as well as being one of the principals of the Long Island Divorce and Family Mediation, LLC group which offers mediation services to divorcing couples as well as families in crisis. Ms.Manzo is a long time member of the Law Guardian Panel in Nassau Country and devotes a large amount of her practice to representing children in both Family and Supreme Courts on Nassau Country.
In addition to her practice, Ms.Manzo is actively involved in the community as a long time Board Member, and two-term President, of Suffolk Country Coalition Against Domestic Violence, a nationally recognized agency, and played a pivotal role in establishing and the "must arrest" policy in Suffolk Country that ultimately ser the precedent for the rest of the country. Ms.Manzo also sits on the Scholarship Board of Hofstra University.
Ms.Manzo is a member of the NYS Bar, the Federal Bar, the Nassau Country Bar, the Suffolk Country Bar, the Suffolk Country Women's Bar and a delegate to the Women's Bar of the State of the New York where she is a member of the Domestic Violence Committee. Ms.Manzo is past President of the Nassau Country Columbian Lawyers, sits on the Board of the Nassau Columbians and is a past Officer in the state-wide Conferderation of Columbian Lawyers. Ms.Manzo is a member of the The Columbus Citizens Foundation in New York City where she is a member of the Parade Committee.
Joseph P. Neglia received his Associate of Art Degree at
El Camino College, in California and attended Fordham University and Brooklyn Law School.
Mr.Neglia became active in the public sector, serving as Assistant Industrial Commissioner for N.Y.S. Department of Labor.
Governor Carey appointed him to serve as a member of the N.Y.S. Mediation Board in charge of New York City operations (1975).
Governor Cuomo appointed him to serve as a member of the N.Y.S. Racing and Wagering Board, which oversees all of the rules and regulations of racing and wagering in New York State.
He presently serves as a member of Community School Board 21, the Italian Board of Guardians and is District Leader of the Renaissance Regular Republican Club 46th A.D., Brooklyn, NY.
In recognition of Mr.Neglia's caring for others, he is the recipient of numerous awards:
"Man of the Year" from the Sino-American Foundation, United Medical Development Foundation, Angel Guardians for the Elderly, Cooley Anemia Foundation, and Public School 35's P.T.A.
His efforts have been more than exemplary in working with one of his pet projects, St.Joseph's Guild helping the physically and mentally challenged.
Mr.Parascandola is a graduate engineer of the Polytechnic Institute of New York and has a law degree from St.John's University of Law. He was admitted to practice law in 1963
Mr.Parascandola is engaged in the general practice of law involving the NYC Administrative Code, Building Code, Fire Code, Nuisance Abatement Law, Noise Code, Pollution Code and Police Code.
Included is practice before the Civil and Criminal Courts, as well as legislative matters under these statutes, and before the City Council on behalf of Labor Unions and Building Owners.
He was appointed as Guardian Ad Litem for persons under disability in probate, adminstration and accounting proceedings in Surrogate's Court and as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Supreme Court.
Mr.Parascandola is also a board member of the Queens Center for Progress (formerly United Cerebal Palsy of Queens) and is a consultant to Queens YMHA and YWHA.
Vincenzo attended Plainview public schools, graduated from La Salle Military Academy in Oakdale, Long Island. In 1976, he graduated from St. John's University in Flushing New York, with degrees in business finance and modern foreign languages. He developed his business skills at his family owned business, F&A Tuxedos, in Commack, Long Island. Upon graduating, he continued working the family business while pursuing other careers. In 1976, he was employed as an operations manager at All-American Auto Rentals. From 1978 through 1984, he worked at Borg Warner as a credit manager. In 1985, he joined I.B.S. a restaurant supply company, and established a multi-faceted, in-house finance company, F.E.D. funding. From 1988 to 2001, he worked in the auto industry as a finance/sales manager. In 1991, he started an internet distribution company, V.M.DAngelo International, Inc. Along with his successful business career, Vincenzo started promoting a number of talented musical artists. Today, most of his efforts are focused on promoting and managing the career of an outstanding tenor, Christopher Macchio, a rising star.
Vincenzo is involved in many community organizations. Most recently, he was elected vice-president, and then president of the Sergeant John Basilone Lodge, Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA). He was voted as vice-president of OSIA's District One Presidential Council. During his tenure in OSIA, he was instrumental in raising significant funds in support of scholarships and major charities. Currently, he also serves on the boards of the Italian-American Political Action Committee, the Lt. Joseph Petrosino Association in America, the Italian Board of Guardians, and the Howard Beach Columbus Day Foundation. Even though these organizations are Italian based, they are philanthropic organizations that provide assistance to all Americans regardless of race, religion, or national origin. In many ways, Vincenzo is a true Renaissance Man.
